The Twelve Seasons
The full vocabulary of personal color.
Four families — Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter — each divided three ways, because four alone puts too many different women in the same box. Read each season as a description of the coloring its palette was built for, then use the palette as a shopping compass.
Spring
The Spring family.
Warm and clear. Light comes off these palettes rather than settling into them.
Summer
The Summer family.
Cool and soft. Everything is one step back from full strength.
Autumn
The Autumn family.
Warm and earthy. The colors look as though they were mixed with a little dust.
Winter
The Winter family.
Cool and saturated. Contrast is the point, not a side effect.
Twelve is a lot to read
Let the reading narrow it down.
Upload a portrait and it measures warm or cool, light or deep, clear or soft, then hands you one of these twelve. Your photo never leaves your device — there is no server to send it to.
Find my colorsPlenty of people sit on a border between two neighbouring seasons. If that is you, read both pages and wear whichever palette makes your face look rested — that is the whole test.
